Marketplaces, Delivery Fees and Seller Competition I use a hoteling to the interaction of two horizontally differentiated sellers and users on an online intermediary marketplace. The platform can reimburse users for their transportation costs if their expenses surpass the purchase threshold. The reimbursement shifts up demand and induces users to buy more products then socially optimal.
